Joan Evans is the Library Media Specialist in McFarland, Wisconsin. She has been an active member of WEMTA for over 20 years. She was named WEMTA Professional of the Year in 2015 and is proud to serve WEMTA as Wisconsin's delegate to the AASL National Assembly. She loves engaging 3rd-5th graders at Waubesa Intermediate school in inquiry learning. As part of a collaborative teaching team, Joan teaches students to apply design thinking to writing, reading, STEAM and coding projects. Minecraft projects are a class favorite!
