In his book On Writing, Stephen King advises budding authors to “write with the door closed, rewrite with the door open.” With all due respect to the master of horror, with all of the online writing tools and collaborative opportunities available for our students, writing with the “door open” has never been more beneficial.

In this workshop, you will practice collaborative writing exercises utilizing Google Apps for Education tools. Discover different project ideas, shared writing exercises and powerful Google Docs Add-ons that you can immediately launch with your students. Unleash the connected and creative writers in your classroom!

This workshop will be hands-on, so please bring a laptop or Chromebook.
