The Midwest Google Apps Summit is a two day, hands on conference that focuses on integrating Google Apps for Education in K-12 and Higher Ed learning environments.  All presentations will be from the Google Education Trainers, Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps savvy educators and local Googley talent.

The best way to create a common culture around innovative teaching practices is to lead by example. This session focuses on how people who are in administrative roles can leverage Google Apps to create a culture of innovation and collaboration while building upon established administrative norms. Focus areas are on Google Apps for communication and workflow as well as Google Drive organization.

David Freeburg works for the Eden Prairie Public Schools as the Director of Digital Curriculum. In this role he works to create systems where digital curriculum can be leveraged for personalized learning opportunities. He uses his background as a Google Certified Teacher and Apple Distinguished Educator to help him in this pursuit, but the most important tool he utilizes are the years spent as a Jr. High social studies teacher.
