13 Ways Google Apps Helps to Improve the Writing Process - Part 2

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In his book On Writing, Stephen King advises budding authors to “write with the door closed, rewrite with the door open.” With all due respect to the master of horror, with all of the online writing tools and collaborative opportunities available for our students, writing with the “door open” has never been more beneficial.

In this workshop, you will practice collaborative writing exercises utilizing Google Apps for Education tools. Discover different project ideas, shared writing exercises and powerful Google Docs Add-ons that you can immediately launch with your students. Unleash the connected and creative writers in your classroom!

This workshop will be hands-on, so please bring a laptop or Chromebook.
This is part 2 of a 2 part workshop.

Educational Technologist/English Teacher, Lake Forest Community High School SD 115
I'm a TED-Ed Innovative Teacher, Google Certified Innovator and Google for Education Trainer. By day I'm an Educational Technologist and English Teacher for Lake Forest High School, and by night I'm furiously outlining and writing new stories (I'm really into urban legends and folklore). Talk to me about TEDx, TED-Ed, Google Apps, writing, and movies. Cheers!
