The Midwest Google Apps Summit is a two day, hands on conference that focuses on integrating Google Apps for Education in K-12 and Higher Ed learning environments.  All presentations will be from the Google Education Trainers, Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps savvy educators and local Googley talent.

An educator for over 20 years, Mary Mlinar-Stephens is currently an instructional coach and computer applications teacher at Waukegan High School. She has taught seventh graders in a 1:1 learning initiative at Robert Abbott Middle School in Waukegan. Mary is a former Director of Educational Technology Innovation in Waukegan CUSD #60 where she co-facilitated a 1:1 learning initiative of 5000 Chromebooks and co-facilitated the district’s Lighthouse Lead Learner program to support innovative teacher leaders across the district. She also co-chaired the district’s Google n’ More Conference for three years. Mary earned master’s degrees in Elementary Education and in K-12 Instructional Technology, and is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University/ISTE Administration and Supervision Cohort program. Mary has presented on instructional technology topics at ICE, MACUL, and ISTE and has presented and participated in several Chicago Tech & Learning Live Events.
